It works great with your hummingbird ant moat if you prefer to use one. Just apply a few drops to a cotton swab to spread it over the moat hook.
Essential oils will lose their scent over time or after a hard rain, so keep an eye on ant & bee activity and apply an additional coat as needed. Apply to the bird feeder pole or shepards hook 8 to 10 inches from the ground up.
